Change of pace

Todd groaned in frustration as he sat up. Lupa had just punched him again after another attempt of trying to win her over. He had been trying and trying for the longest time, yet every time he failed.

" Why doesn't she like me?; Chicks dig a man in a mask.", Todd asked himself.

Todd got up and walked back to his room, upset. They were there filming for the third year event, and Todd wasn't having much luck with Lupa. He laid down on his bed and starred up at the ceiling.

" Maybe she doesn't like me.", Todd sighed.

Thinking back, Lupa had never shown the slightest interest in him at all. Every time she regretted, it made him sadder. And quite frankly, he had enough stuff going on to make him sad anyway. So why had to the sadness by trying to win her over so many times. He sat up and nodded.

" I should try to move on, I mean I've never been able to win Lupa over. Maybe I could find another girl. Yeah moving on doesn't sound so bad.", Todd reassured himself as he walked out of his room and down the hall.

Walking down the hall he accidently bumped into someone, both of them fell to the ground. Todd moaned in pain and sat up. His mouth hung open in shock. The person he bumped into was Nostalgia Chick.

' She's so beautiful.', Todd thought.

Todd snapped out of his thoughts and stud up. " I'm sorry, here let me help you.", Todd told her as he helped her stand up.

Nostalgia Chick brushed off her skirt and nodded. " Thank you.", Nostalgia Chick smiled.

" I'm Todd in the shadows, you can just call me Todd.", Todd told her as held his hand out.

" I'm Nostalgia Chick.", She smiled as she shook his hand and then let go.

" Sorry I bumped into you.", Todd mumbled.

" It's ok, hey don't you do reviews for the site?", Nostalgia Chick asked.

" Yeah, I review bad pop songs.", Todd nodded.

" Awesome, I've heard of you.", Nostalgia Chick smiled.

Todd nodded and looked down. Nostalgia Chick starred at him, he was cute and looked pretty lonely. ' No wonder he looks upset, I don't think he barely goes outside.', Nostalgia Chick thought.

" So, I'll see you later. Nice meeting you.", Todd mumbled.

Nostalgia Chick was about to respond when Todd brushed past her and walked off. Nostalgia Chick turned and watched him walk off. He seemed nervous to her. Nostalgia Chick ran off to find Lupa, maybe she could tell her more about Todd. She finally found Lupa in her room reading a book.

" Oh hey, what's up?", Lupa asked, looking up at Nostalgia Chick.

" Do you know Todd?", Nostalgia Chick asked.

Lupa put her book down and groaned. " Yes, he's so annoying. Always trying to win me over.", Lupa complained.

" Oh.", Nostalgia Chick mouthed.

" Why do you ask?", Lupa wondered.

" No reason, I've just heard of him is all.", Nostalgia Chick lied as she left the room.

She walked back to her room and saw Nella. " Hey.", Nella smiled.

" Hey Nella.", Nostalgia Chick nodded.

Nostalgia Chick sat on her bed and smiled a little. ' Maybe this is a good change of pace.', Nostalgia Chick thought.

Meanwhile, Todd sat by the pool, starring at his hooded reflection in the water. " Don't get your hopes up. She's so pretty that I bet she's already got a boyfriend.", Todd told himself, sadness coming back into his heart.

" Hey Todd.", Paw called.

Todd looked up and saw Paw walk over to him and sit down. " What's wrong buddy?", Paw asked, concerned.

" Nothing.", Todd lied.

" Did something happen with Lupa again?", Paw asked.

" Yeah, but I decided to try to move on.", Todd explained.

" Well that's good.", Paw smiled.

" But I bumped into the most beautiful girl in the hall.", Todd smiled slightly.

" Oh?", Paw inquired, interested.

" Her name is Nostalgia Chick. Have you meet her before?", Todd asked.

" Yeah, she's nice.", Paw nodded.

" Yeah and I met she's already got a boyfriend.", Todd sighed.

  " Actually , She's single.", Paw told him.

" Really?!", Todd gasped.

Paw nodded and smiled. Todd looked up and smiled a bit. ' Maybe this could be a good change of pace.', Todd thought.
